SUMMARY OF QUINTUM'S BEST PRACTICES THROUGH DEPLOYMENTS

Quintum has strategically focused on providing VoIP solutions to the business market. Whether supporting legacy infrastructure, IP PBXs or unified communications, or integrating legacy equipment with VoIP communication systems, the Tenor series has been widely successful among enterprises.

Quintum's solutions have gained considerable popularity among multi-site businesses. Industries with multiple locations such as banking, finance, retail, insurance, real state, hospitality and government have shown a greater interest. Service providers offering SIP trunking, hosted IP PBX services, IP Centrex and hosted call centers have also displayed a great interest in Quintum's solutions.

Some of Quintum's most successful customers include Akridge Real Estate, the Agricultural Bank of China and ESPN.

Akridge Real Estate has installed IP PBXs with IP phones in new locations but is not willing to upgrade its installed legacy voice network. By using Quintum's Tenors Akridge has created a single network that integrates the legacy PBXs and traditional telephony equipment with their IP-based counterparts. This grants Akridge the possibility to leverage its investment in legacy equipment until eventually replacing it with IP-based solutions.

The Agricultural Bank of China has deployed Quintum's Tenors for its branch offices. These devices enable branch-to-branch calling as well as any office to any office calls "hopping off" onto the local PSTN transparently. Additionally, the Tenors enable bank customers to dial into the local branch and "hop on" the VoIP network to access the centralized telephony banking system.

ESPN has deployed Quintum's Tenors to provide communications in its program production vehicles sent on location to cover sports events. These vehicles are connected to different IP infrastructures and therefore, the Tenors are moved into different IP infrastructures on a regular basis. In the case the voice communication fails, the service provider (S/CM VoIP) can log into the RMSS and remotely diagnose and solve the problem without requiring assistance from ESPN.

These stories are just a few examples of many successful deployments where Quintum's solutions have granted end users the quality of service and reliability needed on a daily basis for highly demanding environments.
