Drop-In Deployment with Quintum's unique MultiPath Architecture, allows the Tenor MultiPath Switch to be transparently installed in any existing voice and data network infrastructure. In a traditional PBX infrastructure, Tenors can be simply dropped in between the traditional PBX trunks, the PSTN and a router. It requires little or no reconfiguration of the PBX and does not require costly PBX tie trunks. For IP PBXs and hosted IP PBX environments, Tenors offer local VoIP connectivity to analog systems and the PSTN.

Survivability of VoIP Networks Is Assured. Whether supporting a traditional PBX or IP-PBX, the Tenor has the ability to re-route calls to assure continued phone service. With an integrated BTBUA, the Tenor has the ability to register VoIP endpoints and route calls to other VoIP nodes or to the PSTN.
