Through its DirectVoIP™ Certified program, iBasis has certified the Quintum Tenor AXT and AXM Series devices for interconnection with the iBasis network. The verified interoperability between Quintum and iBasis allows service providers with Tenors in their POPs to establish interconnections to the iBasis global network in a fast and straight-forward manner.

iBasis and Quintum engineers collaborated to develop the necessary software enhancements to enable the Quintum platform to achieve DirectVoIP certification as a very cost-effective analog solution. iBasis required refinements to provide effective call supervision to support iBasis’ high quality standards since call supervision issues can be particularly difficult problems for service providers to solve.
