Description: Auto-Switch Enable. Used to enable or disable the use of the Auto-Switch features for calls that route out of this trunk group. The typical Auto-Switch feature is used just for calls that go to the PBX trunk group (typically to a PBX). It is not typical that this feature be enabled for the PSTN trunk group (for hop-off calls) since if an Auto-Switch call was to occur for a hop-off call, then 2 channels of the PSTN would be used to terminate the original call. One channel would be the original hop-off call and the 2nd would be the incoming auto-switch call. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#.
