lamnpi

Description:   LAM Numbering Plan ID. Used to define what the ISDN Numbering Plan ID will be set to when sending a LAM call out to the PSTN. This is only necessary for ISDN lines and only if the PSTN requires specific settings other than the defaults that are set.

Not available on Analog Tenors.   

Cmd Type:   command.   

Prompt Level:   config pstntg n#    

Syntax:   lamnpi {indx} {0 | 1 | 9}   

Arguments:   

indx   Required. Numeric value that is the index number of the LAM pattern with which the lamnpi is to be associated. Each lamnpi must be matched with a LAM pattern.

0   Unknown. Sets the ISDN NPI as an Unknown plan.

1   SDN. Sets the ISDN NPI as an ISDN plan.

9   Private. Sets the ISDN NPI as a Private plan.   

Default:   0 - Unknown.   

Availability:   Only when a lampattern is set. All releases of Digital Tenor units.

Guidelines:   This feature is used to route calls from the IP network out to the PSTN as hop-off calls. Typically, this setting is not required to be change, however, in some instances you may need to set this.   

Examples:   

config pstntg 1# lamnpi 1 1

Sets the ISDN NPI to ISDN for the pattern set in index 1.

config pstntg 1# lamnpi 2 0

Sets the ISDN NPI to Unknown for the pattern set in index 2.

config pstntg 1# lamnpi 3 0

Sets the ISDN NPI to Unknown for the pattern set in index 3.
