Description: Used to configure a name for the trunk group. A name must be configured before the trunk group will become active and available for configuration. The first trunk group (both PSTN and PBX) are created for you with default names. If you wish to create another trunk group for either interface, once you enter the next trunk group number at the prompt (config pstntg 2#, config pbxtg 2#, etc.,) you must use this command to enter the name. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#.

Prompt Level: config pstntg 1# and config pbxtg 1#
Syntax: name {name}
Arguments: name Required. Alpha-numeric string that is entered as the trunk group name, no spaces.
Default: null
Availability: All releases of Tenor units.
Examples:
config pstntg 1# name PSTNTG01
Sets the first PSTN trunk group name to PSTNTG01.
config pbxtg 1# name PBXTG01
Sets the first PBX trunk group name to PBXTG01.
