Description: Pass-Through Trunk Id. Used to set a trunk id to be associated with passthru. When a call needs to pass-through from one trunk group to another, it is only allowed to do so to a trunk group that has the same id as the call origination trunk group. For example if you have a PSTN TG that has the passthru set to Yes and a pttrunkid of 0, and you have a PBX TG with passthru set to yes and a pttrunkid of 0 then calls that come in from the PSTN will be routed to this PBX trunk group. However, in the above example, if the PBX TG had a pttrunkid of 1, when a call comes in from the PSTN TG (pttrunkid 0), there is not PBX TG that has the same pttrunkid as the PSTN TG and the call will not be able to route correctly. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#.
Cmd Type: command.
Prompt Level: config pstntg 1# and config pbxtg 1#
Syntax: pttrunkid or ptt {n}
Arguments: n Required. Numeric value that is configured as the trunk id number.
Default: 0
Availability: All releases of Tenor units.
Guidelines: This would typically be used if you had 2 or more Trunk Groups configured on both the PSTN and the PBX side and you wanted to make sure that calls that come in from the PSTN side are routed to the correct trunk group (and channels assigned) on the PBX side.
Examples:
config pstntg 1# pttrunkid 1
Sets the first PSTN trunk group pttrunkid to 1.
config pbxtg 1# pttrunkid 1
Sets the first PBX trunk group pttrunkid to 1.
