Description: R2 ANI command. Used to set up the R2 ANI information for E1 CAS. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#.
Cmd Type: command.
Prompt Level: config pstntg 1# and config pbxtg 1#
Syntax: r2ani {req} {len} {cat} {tone}
Arguments:
req Required. Numeric string that specifies whether and when ANI should be requested.
len Required. Numeric string that specifies how many digits the ANI will be.
cat Required. Numeric string that specifies the R2 Group A tone to request the ANI Category before the ANI.
tone Required. Numeric string that specifies the R2 Group A tone used to request the ANI digits.
Settings:
req
0 Do not request ANI.
1 - 20 Request ANI after the specified DNIS digit.
-1 Request ANI after complete DNIS receipt.
len
0 Variable length ANI.
1-20 Specified ANI length.
cat
1-15 Specified tone to request ANI category.
tone
1-15 Specified tone to request ANI digits.
Default: null
Availability: Only if ccsorcas is set to CAS (1), the line is an E1 and cassig is set to R2 (4). Software release 2 or higher (p2-x-x) on Digital Tenors only. Not available on Analog Tenors.
Examples:
config pstntg 1# r2ani 7 0 1 1
Sets ANI info to request the ANI after the 7th DNIS digit is sent, the ANI will be variable length, tone 1 will be used to request the ANI category and tone 1 will be used to request the ANI digits.
