Description: R2 DNIS command. Used to set the dnis length, the answer tone and the 1st digit request tone. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#. DNIS is the called party number (destination number). Answer tone is the R2 Group A tone used to answer incoming calls. Send 1st digit indicates whether "send first digit" R2 Group A backward tone is used. If used, and the origination end receives this tone, it will retransmit the DNIS from the first digit.

Prompt Level: config pstntg 1# and config pbxtg 1#
Syntax: r2dnis or r2dn {len} {anstone} {1stdig}
Arguments:
len Required. Numeric value that specifies the DNIS length expected.
anstone Required. Numeric value that specifies the normal group A answer tone used.
1stdig Required. Numeric value that specifies the send 1st digit tone.

0 Variable DNIS length.
1-20 Specified DNIS length.
anstone
3 or 6 Specified Answer Tone.
1stdig
0 1st digit request not used.
1-15 Specified tone to request 1st digit.

Availability: Only if ccsorcas is set to CAS (1), the line is an E1 and cassig is set to R2 (4). Software release 2 or higher (p2-x-x) on Digital Tenors only. Not available on Analog Tenors.
Guidelines: Check with the local PSTN for these parameters.
Examples:
config pstntg 1# r2dnis 7 3 2
Sets the DNIS length expected to 7 digits, the answer tone to 3 and the 1st digit request tone to 2.
