Description: R2 Timeouts. Used to set up the R2 signaling timeouts on E1 lines that are CAS. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#.
Cmd Type: command.
Prompt Level: config pstntg 1# and config pbxtg 1#
Syntax: r2timeouts or r2time {seiz} {rel}
Arguments:
seiz Required. Numeric value that specifies maximum time an outgoing R2 register waits for the seizure acknowledgement after sending a seizure signal in ms.
rel Required. Numeric value that specifies time an incoming R2 register waits before sending an idle line signal.
Default: seiz: 200ms. rel: 0ms.
Availability: Only if ccsorcas is set to CAS (1), the line is an E1 and cassig is set to R2 (4).. Software release 2 or higher (p2-x-x) on Digital Tenors only. Not available on Analog Tenors.
Examples:
config pstntg 1# r2timeouts 300 10
Sets the seizure acknowledgement to 300ms and the release guard to 10ms.
