This command/feature is very useful for identifying calls to billing systems on a large service provider network. This command is set on the call termination Tenor. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#.
Cmd Type: command.
Prompt Level: config pstntg 1# and config pbxtg 1#
Syntax: trunkiddelivery or trunkiddel {0 | 1 | 2}
Arguments:
0 None. Trunk id will not be sent out of this trunk group, but will be shown in the CDR string for the call.
1 As Origination Number. For ISDN or Feature Group D configured trunk groups only. The trunk Id will be sent out of this trunk group in the calling party id. It will replace any calling number that may have been provided.
2 In Destination Number. Used in conjunction with trunkidformat, to include the trunk id as part of the destination (called party) number. This can be configured to be appended to the front of the destination number or added to the end of the destination number.
Default: 0 - None.
Availability: All Tenor units.
Guidelines: This parameter is set on the Termination Tenor, where the call will terminate to. The trunkidformat is also used at the termination Tenor to set how the trunk id will be delivered to the termination trunk group.
Examples:
config pstntg 1# trunkiddel 1
Sets the trunk group id to be delivered as the origination number when sent out of the first PSTN trunk group.
config pbxtg 1# trunkiddel 2
Sets the trunk group id to be delivered in the destination number when sent out of the first PBX trunk group.
