trunkidformat

Description:   Trunk ID Format. Used to define the format of how the Trunk ID will be sent when trunkiddelivery is set to in destination. This command/feature is very useful for identifying calls to billing systems on a large service provider network. This command is set on the call termination Tenor. This id /account code can be sent to the billing systems to identify the call originator and provide accurate billing. For the purposes of this section, the prompt will be shown as config pstntg 1# or config pbxtg 1#.   

Cmd Type:   command.   

Prompt Level:   config pstntg 1# and config pbxtg 1#   

Syntax:   turnkidformat or trunkidfor {frmt}    

Arguments:   frmt   Required. String that defines how the trunk id will be sent when configured to be sent in the destination number by the trunkiddelivery command.   

Settings:   frmt       

d   Destination number. Character that represents the destination number. If forcediprouting was used at the origination Tenor, then the forced DN number will be used for this character.

c   Trunk Id. Character that represents the trunk id that was sent at the origination Tenor.

o   Original destination number. Character that represents the original destination number dialed. If a forcediprouting number was set at the origination Tenor, the Tenor will use the original destination number, as received by the origination Tenor.

0-9,   *, #   Literal characters. Can be used as delimiters or literals that are sent as entered.   

Default:   Null   

Availability:   Only when trunkiddelivery is set to 2 - In destination. All Tenor units.   

Guidelines:   This parameter is set on the destination Tenor, where the call will terminate to.   

Examples:   For this example, the trunk id set at the origination end will be 5551111 and the destination number will be 4609000.

config pstntg 1# trunkidformat c#d

Sends the destination number out as 5551111#4609000 to the first PSTN trunk group.

config pbxtg 1# trunkidformat d#999c

Sends the destination number out as 4609000#9995551111 to the first PBX trunk group.
