Tenor (tm) Configuration Manager
CM106-10-00 Release Notes
This document lists features and enhancements, as well as open and resolved
inconsistencies, for the CM106-10-00 release of Tenor Configuration
Manager.
Notes
You can install two instances of Configuration Manager on a single
PC, but you must create two separate install directories (i.e., for each installation,
choose a different directory in which to install the software).
Before downloading Configuration Manager from the web server, please
disable Virus Detection software in your PC. Otherwise, the download may be
intercepted and some problems may occur.
Interoperability
This version of Configuration Manager is compatible with Tenor CMS/Call
Relay SP/DX/DXi/BX/AX/AF/AS. Configuration Manager CM106-10-00 is backwards
compatible with Tenor version P105-19-xx and earlier.
Windows Vista Compatibility
Config Manager is compatible with Windows Vista, but requires a small configuration
change. Config Manager requires a Telnet client capability from the installed
PC, and by default it uses the Windows internal Telnet client. However, Windows
Vista doesn't include the Telnet client by default, which can be turned on by
following these steps:
Open the Programs and Features Control Panel applet (Start -> Control
Panel -> Programs and Features).
Select "Turn Windows features on or off."
Select the Telnet Client option and click OK.
A dialog box appears, confirming the installation of new features. After
installation is complete, close the main Programs and Features Control Panel
applet. The Telnet command should now be available.
