Remote Management Session Server - P2.0 Release Notes

This document lists new features and enhancements for the P2.0 release of the Remote Management Session Server (RMSS).

Notes:
You can install this upgrade by going to the CLI and typing 'update' at the RemoteTenorManager> prompt. The update command performs an automatic software update check. If new software is available from Quintum, the most recent software is automatically downloaded. Note that any software downloaded from Quintum will be activated at the next restart. For this feature to work, a DNS name server must be specified via the 'nameserver' command.

Interoperability

RMSS P2.0 is compatible with Tenor AS/AX/AF/DX version P103-08-10 and later.

New Features Introduced in P2.0

The following section describes new features/enhancements for Remote Management Session Server:

FTP

The RMSS application can now be used to securely FTP files from/to a remote Tenor. This feature is described in the RMSS Application Guide, in the second to last section (see the list of contents on the first page of the PDF file).
