Notice of Software Patch for First Generation Quintum Tenors A software patch is a release of software that has been created by Quintum to resolve an inconsistency or ‘bug’ that has been identified within a previous release of Generally Available (GA) software or patch. They may also add features. Patch software does not go through any testing from Quintum, but has been verified by the customer that the identified the bug is resolved with this patch. Patches (for First Generation Tenors) can be identified by the 4th set of digits in the release name as PW-X-Y-Z. Where the Z is the patch number. All patches will be built on top of the latest GA release of software. For example, if P4-2-20 is the latest GA software, then the first patch for this software will be P4-2-20-1. If additional patches are required for a specific GA release, each new patch will contain all previous patch fixes. So the patch P4-2-20-2 will include all patches from P4-2-20-1. On a scheduled basis, Quintum will release a full GA version that will include all previous patches and will have been put through our full system tests. The notes below are cumulative since the last GA Release, P4-2-20. The most recent changes are in the top section, the history is similarly in most recent first order. We hope that this process will aid our customers by providing fixes in a more rapid manner. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-36 Release Date: May 12, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1314 MINOR MODS TO FAXMON BASED ON TELOGY INPUT Telogy has provided some updates and input, these changes should be rolled into the FAXMON tracing. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1312 ADD FAX MONITOR (FAXMON) TRACE TO TENOR Added a new fax debug command to the event log, "faxd". This will print STATS trace for fax exchange between the fax machine and the iinternal DSP that is more user readible. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1311 GK DIES ON RECEIVING AN RRQ WITH AN EMPTY CALLSIGNALADDRESS When an RRQ message with empty callSignalAddress is received the Tenor may reset. The fix has been maded to check for the empty callSignalAddress and ignore such registration messages. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1309 R2-DTMF IS ONLY PARTIALLY IMPLEMENTED When the R2-DTMF and MeterCode changes were added (MR# 793) only the DB changes got into the code build. The R2 protocol specific changes were not so DTMF can be selected and configured but the Tenor will still be doing MFC. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1149 GENERAL CHANGES There are additional changes here for the Austrialian dialplan. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #0793 R2-DTMF AND METERING Support for R2-DTMF signaling and metering signal. DTMF can be used instead of MFC in either direction. New parameters: r2inctone 0=mfc, 1=dtmf for incoming calls r2outtone 0=mfc, 1=dtmf for outgoing calls r2meter 0 = no metering used, 1 = pulsed clear-back, 2 = pulsed answer. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-35 Release Date: Apr 29, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1306 NTT PBX NOT WORKING WITH ANALOG TENOR The "Alfa series" NTT PBXs had problems with the ring signal being generated by our SLICs. In certain cases due to the shape of the signal, the NTT PBX recognized every "ON-TIME" of the ring signal as a new call. Customer reported the problem as going off-hook, and the line kept ringing. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1301 ADD TCP ACCEPT TIMER This change will close opened but unused TCP connections. For example if a GW opens a TCP connection with the intent of making a VoIP call but never sends a Setup message the TCP socket will be closed after 2 seconds. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1298 AUTOEXTIP FEATURE IS RESETTING CALLSIG PORT FROM 1720 When testing the AutoExtIp feature on the G2 Quintum products it was discovered that the CallSignaling Port is being changed along with the Ras port when a change in IP is made. It doesn't seem to effect the G1 products but the G2 were resetting this port to 20000 from the well-known 1720 during registration w/the GK. When calls are made they are attempted to Port 20000 which the term side GW is not listening on so the call is disconnected. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1297 NONSTANDARD TAG MISMATCH After adding the AutoExtIp feature to the Gen2 code it was not interoperating when the GK a Gen1. When the Gen1 GK sent back the new Public IP address the Gen2 GW couldn't find it to update its ExtNATIP value in the DB. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-34 Release Date: Apr 5, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1300 RESET BY WRONG COMMAND -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1299 RADIUS DEFAULT LANGUAGE AND CURRENCY CHANGE The default radius value for language is "en" and for currency is "USD". These defaults will cause problem if the radius server does not send these attributes and in pbx or pstn routing group the language configured is not English. The radius lib set the these values to xx for language and XXX for currency. CH will check and default to appropriate values. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-33 Release Date: Mar 26, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. *** Quintum MR #1292 IVRALLOWDID In IVR call, IVRAllowDID enables a incoming call with DNIS to pass to normal routing or routing to ivr by matching DID. So when a user set IVRACCESSNO to DID. if dnis have a matching did, the call is routed to ivr. otherwise the call is routed by dnis translation result.. *** Quintum MR #1295 RoutingServer *** Quintum MR #1296 No access number in pre-authentication ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-32 Release Date: Mar 1, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. *** Quintum MR #1288 IVR pre-authentication IVR Preauthentication Change (Old feature) Next procedure is exaclty same as ivrtype 2, 3, 5. (New faeture) ivrpreauthentication feature makes ivrlanguage selection and user authentication by authentication response. 1. Call setup and terminates to IVR. 2. If pre authentication is set to 1, then send pre-authentication (with ANI or trunk id) to radius. 3. In auth. OK case, Tenor play "Please enter your destination number" 4. If fail, the call goes to 1st stage " welcom". 5. Even though pre-authentication is failed, if a language selection is set, then the language is selected. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-31 Release Date: February 24, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1288 WHEN OFFLINE ANALOG TENOR NOT RETURNING CAUSE=34 FOR INCOMING VOIP CALLS This change made back in Patch29 is not working correctly for Analog Tenors. It was initially done due to a problem w/Digital Tenors but should work now with both. If a Digital or Analog Tenor is in the "offline" state either thru user config or due to multiple resets then incoming VoIP calls will be rejected automatically w/Cause=34 instead of 17. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-30 Release Date: February 19, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1285 WHEN USING MOIP THE VIF SIZE IS NOT CONFIGURABLE A request was made for the VIF size to be configurable even when the Tenor is configured for MoIP. Currently, for MoIP, VIF size is set to some default based on the selected codec. A new command has been added under config-->dsp called "faxmodemvif" which can be used to set the VIF size. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1284 IMPROVEMENTS IN DISCONNECT TONE DETECTION The current disconnect tone detection algorithm does not work in some countries. In particular, some countries have disconnect tones, such as, "do do do doooo do do do doooo" These tones are not detected by the current algorithm. A new command has been added under config-->dsp called "dsoption" which allows user to set desired on/off cadence time in one cycle. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1283 FALLBACK TO PRIMARY HAS A POTENTIAL TO OSCILLATE If configured for GK auto discovery (config-->h323gw-->primaryauto=1) and the PrimaryGK accepts the discovery (replies w/GCF) but then rejects the registration the GW will oscillate between Primary & SecondaryGK indefinitely. This will cause excess CPU usage in the GW and flood the network w/many RAS messages. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1282 FALLBACK TO PRIMARY NOT DOING KEEP ALIVE When GW "fallsback" to PrimaryGK from SecondaryGK it reregisters initially but does not continue the RRQ KeepAlive cycle. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1280 SUPPORT FOR "OVERLAP RECEIVING" WHEN CONFIG'D FOR ETSI/USER Currently the Telenetworks ISDN stack does not support overlap receiving when it is configured fOR ETSI/User. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1276 WRONG CALL DURATION IN MULTISESSION CALL A user can call in, authenticate and dial the destination number and it routes over IP. However, if they use the ## before the call is connected, a stop accounting message is sent for the voip leg with a call connect time so the radius sees duration even though the call did not connect. Additionally, the same problem occurs when the user calls a number that is busy and Tenor receives a cause 17 from the destination indicating the call is busy. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-29 Release Date: February 2, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1274 RETURN CAUSE=34 WHEN IN BYPASS MODE (TKT 11336) When a Digital Tenor is terminating a VoIP call and it is in bypass mode it returns a RelComp w/Cause=17 (User Busy). It has been requested that it return cause=34 (No Ckt/Chan Available). This change monitors the Bypass Alarm state, if set then an incoming IP call will always be disconnected and RelComp returned w/Cause=34. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1273 ADD IVR ACCESS NUMBER TO RADIUS AUTHORIZATION AND STOP ACCOUNTING The radius authorization request and radius stop accounting request for the originate leg will content the "h323-ivr-out=ACCESSCODE:< dnis received from the Telco>" -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1272 UNRESPONDED RADIUS AUTHENTICATION IS RETRIED EVER AFTER THE CALL DISCONNECTS This fixes the problem when a caller enters the card number and disconnects the call immediately. If the radius server does not respond to the authentication request then the request is retried the number of times configured in the database. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1271 UPDP 2~911 ERROR US dialplan has 211 ~ 911, which can be defined by 2~911 in UPDP command. It was not working, this problem has been corrected. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1270 H323 VULNERABILITY CHANGES A suite of over 4000 h.323 tests are being released by NISCC. We have gotten a hold of this test suite and in response to the results have made a number of changes so that our products will hold up in the field. Associated with this, there have been some customers who have experienced problems similiar to those we see in the test suite and we have made changes there also. -------------------- *** Quintum MR #1264 INCREASE MINIGK VOIP CALLS ALLOWED In the MiniGK configuration the number of VoIP call allowed is equal to the number of ports on the unit (4 for A400, 8 for A800 etc....). The Gatekeeper software counted, by design, each received ARQ as 1 call. This limited the number of VoIP calls to less than the number of ports if calls were being made within the same GK Zone. This change reduces that limitation by counting only the "Origination" ARQ's as 1 VoIP call, not the "Termination" ones allowing the same number of VoIP calls whether they are all in the same GK Zone or not. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-28 Release Date: January 20, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. *** Quintum MR #1170 IVR APPLICATION SELECTION BASED ON RADIUS RESPONSE Allow the radius response to dictate whether prepaid or postpaid is run as described below based on Radius Billing Mode parameter: Prepaid Call Flow ----------------- 1. Caller calls in. 2. The Tenor responds with "Welcome; Please enter your pin followed by the pound key" 3. Caller enters 2233445566# 4. The Tenor sends 2233445566 to the radius server for authentication. 5. Radius server returns the credit amount $10.35 and billing type 1 to indicate it is a prepaid pin and the amount should be announced to the caller. 6. The Tenor announces to the caller "You have 10 dollars 35 cents remaining. Please enter the destination number" 7. The caller enters 17324609000 8. The Tenor sends 17324609000 to the RADIUS server. 9. The RADIUS server returns the duration for which the call can last (12420 seconds assuming the rate is set to 5 cents per minute) and billing type 1 to indicate that it is a prepaid call and the number of minutes should be announced to the caller. 10. The Tenor plays " You have 207 minutes for this call" and attempts to connect the call. Postpaid Call Flow ------------------ 1. Caller calls in. 2. The Tenor responds with "Welcome; Please enter your pin followed by the pound key" 3. Caller enters 5566778899# 4. The Tenor sends 5566778899 to the RADIUS server for authentication. 5. The RADIUS returns billing type 0 to indicate it is a postpaid account. 6. The Tenor prompts the caller for the destination number. 7. The caller enters 17324609000. 8. The Tenor sends 17324609000 to the RADIUS server for authorization. 9. The RADIUS server returns billing type 0 to indicate that it is postpaid call and call duration of one million seconds. 10. The Tenor will attempt to connect the call. To support this feature, new IVRTYPE 11 is created. To configure: con pstn 1 ivrtype 11 *** Quintum MR #1266 PREAUTHENTICATION MESSAGE DOES NOT FILL PASSWORD FIELD In case of pre-authentication currently the password field is not populated and the radius server that strictly adhere to the RADIUS spec reject our pre-authentication messages. We need to be populate the password field with the caller id(ani). Thie has been reported on the DX. This bug should be there in the common code, cms and the 1G Tenors. BesideS this problem, there are some significant modifications in preauthentication feature according to the CMS code. 1) CLI command : old : ivrlangtype new : ivrpreauth 2) If preauthentication gets fail by invalid ANI then just start from the beginning by default language. *** Quintum MR #1267 CALLING STATION ID CORRUPTED IN RADIUS STOP ACCOUNTING In the radius stop accounting message, Calling-Station-Id field is corrupted. *** Quintum MR #1268 CDR CALLING DN CORRUPTED In some of the call log trace the ANI displayed is corrupted, showing "junk" characters. *** Quintum MR #1269 FORCED IP ROUTES ARE ALLOWED ROUTE ADVANCING IF FAILS ON INITIAL CALL Currently when call comes in from a trunk where forcediprouting is set, if the initial call fails, the call is not re-routed even if the cause code valid for re-routing. The call is now allowed to re-route to another route if available. Thia was a customer request they had the inbound forcedip call failing over IP and wished it to be re-routed to backup circuit trunk. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-27 Release Date: January 16, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. *** Quintum MR #1151 H323 VULNERABILITY ISSUE Beginning on 1/12/2004 many of Quintum's customers were experiencing crashes in their gateways. We have identified this as an H323 vulnerability and this patch takes corrective action. It is recommended that all customers concerned upgrade to this patch as this vulnerability affects ALL Quintum releases. *** Quintum MR #1265 PRINT IP ADDRESS OF INCOMING CALL FOR DEBUG EFFORTS This will allow user to only have to turn on "hstack" trace to see the IP:Port of the originating Gateway making the call. Useful in high traffic debug where having alot of trace on is not practical. *** Quintum MR # N/A (Affects Digital Tenor only) CORRECT CRITICAL NUMBER OF TASKS When GUI was removed from the Digital Tenor the number of tasks running was not changed accordingly. Without this change the Digital Tenor can reset w/o warning. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-26 Release Date: January 9, 2004 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1258 REMOVE GUI FROM DIGITAL TENOR ONLY To conserve space in memory the GUI and associated code has been removed from the Digital Tenor build. The Analog build however will continue to allow GUI access until the P5-1-4 release. ** Quintum MR #1259 (Additional changes from patch25) RADIUS SESSION TIMER < 0 Sometimes Radius Session time is reported as negative value. When a user balance reaches to 1 minute, Tenor sends a alert tone for 600 seconds to inform 1 minute left. CH disconnects the call exactly after 60 seconds. So actual session time is always 600 msec longer than call duration time (disconn time - connect time). This can generate -1 second session time. ** Quintum MR #1260 IVR TYPE 9 (ANI 3) GETS CONNECTED BEFORE CONNECTING DESTINATION The PBX trunk is set to ivrtype 9 (ANIType 3). User is sending a call from the PBX with the caller id and destination number in the setup, however, we are connecting the call locally (sending a connect back) before we route the call over IP and get connected at the destination. ** Quintum MR #1261 IVR MULTISESSION CALL LEG 0 CALL DURATION IS ALWAYS 0 In IVR multisession call, when the a radius/ivr call is originated over IP, and the IP side hangs up first, the Tenor tries to connect back to the IVR, but user does not enter multisession key, then the call fails by interdigit timeout. In this case, the stop accounting for the telephony leg, instead of showing the full duration, only shows the duration for the reconnect back to the IVR after the IP side fails. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-25 Release Date: December 24, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, NOT for Digital Tenors (binary too large). ** Quintum MR #1233 ADD '*' AS A VALID CHARACTER IN LAMREPLACEMENT Added the '*' character as a valid one in the PSTNTG lamreplacement. ** Quintum MR #1242 CISCOGK DOES NOT LIKE SRCINFO CONTAINING AN E.164 OF "0" When Tenor receives a Setup from PBX or PSTN and it either does not contain a CallingPartyNumber or that number contains invalid E164 characters the current code places a "0" number in the E.164 string. This was done to avoid placing ANI's w/invalid E164 characters or empty strings in the ARQ causing an ossEncode failure. When registered to a CiscoGK and the srcInfo in the ARQ from the Tenor contained an e.164 Id of "0" the CiscoGK would rejecting the request w/an ARJ. It is not clear why as the destination number is the one that is parsed and '0' is a VALID E.164 character. It was suggested that if the CiscoGK is doing authentication this may be causing the problem. The current code will NOT place an E164 element in the srcInfo list if it is an empty string or contains invalid E.164 characters. ** Quintum MR #1244 DUPLICATED CDR (TKT 10095) In call relay system, tenor generates duplicate cdrs. Code change to prevent this from happening. ** Quintum MR #1245 CDR CORRUPTION (TKT 10608) Correct corrupted ANI in CDR. ** Quintum MR #1247 CANMAPALIAS IN ARQ SHOULD BE FALSE (TKT 10688) The canMapAlias element of the ARQ message has been set to TRUE by default. Since Quintum GW's do not support ARQ number translation so this element is set to FALSE to avoid interop problems w/3rd party vendor GK's. ** Quintum MR #1250 TENOR SENDING CLC W/INCORRECT FORWARDLOGICALCHANNEL During a fax call after RequestMode is received each gateway closes the logical channels they initially opened to setup the call. When configured for g729 codec the Tenor sends the CLC w/the wrong logical channel number. This was causing interop problems w/Nextone for fax calls and Nortel CSE1000 when doing call transfers. ** Quintum MR #1259 RADIUS SESSION TIMER < 0 Sometimes Radius Session time is reported as negative value. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-24 Release Date: April 28, 2003 - LIMITED RELEASE Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR # N/A CRITICAL NUMBER OF TASKS INCORRECT (Tkt 10980) The number of tasks is incorrect and has recently caused a reset in a CallRelay. This has been corrected and should cover all products (Analog, Digital, CallRelay etc….). ** Quintum MR # 1163/1255 DHCP TIMEOUT FROM A200 (Tkt8736) A400 couldn't obtain a IP address from the A200 via DHCP. In case that A400 try to get IP address from the A200 (Running DHCP server) via DHCP,If the requested IP address is out of range in A200 DHCP configuration, A200 rejects the DHCP request. For example if A400 has IP 192.168.1.131 and sends DHCP_REQUEST with the IP address to the server.and if A200 DHCP server has a different IP address range (192.168.2.2 ~ 192.168.2.200), then A200 rejects the DHCP_REQUEST. ** Quintum MR # 1256 IVR VOICE PROMPT FAIL IN CASE OF MULTISESSION CALL (tkt 10967) When Radius server returns a authentication reject with error code 1 (Invalid account), 2 (Invalid Password) , 14 (Service Not available), the IVR call get to fail call. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-23 Release Date: November 18, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1189 IN H323, SEND MSGS TO CH LAST Internal software changes to avoid a possible reset situation. ** Quintum MR #1196 MOVE CALLS TO H450ROS CTOR Creating the H450ROS object before the pH450Transfer pointer was checked for validity was causing a reset in release P5-1-2 which was under test. ** Quintum MR #1220 IVR – ADD HONG KONG CURRENCY Add Hong Kong currency to IVR as an option. ** Quintum MR #1222 RECEIVING a SETUP W/O A CALLEDPARTYNUMBER WAS CAUSING CALL TO DISCONNECT Tenor PBX port received a Setup which contained a CalledPartyNumber IE with a blank CalledParty. This should have been acceptable as the PBXTG was configured for ETSI/Master and OverlapDial but the Telenetworks stack flagged it and sent back a Status-Enquiry w/cause=100 (Invalid information element contents). This eventually lead to the Tenor disconnecting the call w/cause 98. ** Quintum MR #1224 TENOR RESETTING ON RECEIPT OF SETUP When Tenor PBX port (configured for QSIG/Master) receives a Setup it resets for sanity timeout. There is a suspicion that the Variable length IE (Facility IE) that is contained in the Setup is causing the problem. ** Quintum MR #1225 TENOR DISCONNECTING CALLS WHEN RECEIVING A CALLPROC W/CODESET 6 For calls going out of the PBX port (configuration unknown), when Tenor receives the CallProceeding and it contains a Shift IE to Codeset 6 the Tenor replies w/a Status-Enquiry, cause=99 (Info. element non-existent or not implemented), the PRI modem responds w/Status, cause=96 (Mandatory info. element is missing) and finally Tenor sends Disconnect, cause=96 (Mandatory info. element is missing). ** Quintum MR #1226 "PRINTING WAS TRUNCATED DUE TO OVERFLOW" Displayed when “gk table” cmd executed When customer executes the "gk table" command on their SAGK, most of the DN's print but then the error message "Printing was truncated due to overflow" is displayed. ** Quintum MR #1227 FAST START BEING IGNORED On outbound h323 calls, if the far end responds with a FS and a tunneled h245 message in a singleQ.931 message, then the call does not get properly connected. The problem is that we process the tunneled message first, which makes h245 start without the FS knowledge. This ends up putting h323 in an odd state and the call does not get connected. ** Quintum MR #1228 ON NEW CONFIG, SOMETIMES GK IS NOT BEING RE-REGISTERED Under the following conditions, the Tenor, CMS and DX will not see the GK re-registeredafter a configuration has been submitted. * If auto discovery is turned off for GK. * On Tenor, if 2 areas of config have been changed that effect h323 and are submitted at the same time. (on CMS, DX it happens even if 1 area is changed) Work around is to submit another config and then GK will be registered. ** Quintum MR #1230 PBX IVR TYPE 4 AND 5 CALL FLOW CHANGE Ivr type 4 and 5 in the pbx trunk provides dial tone before authenticating ani. This resulted in the following call flow. 1. User picks up the phone and gets dialtone. 2. User enters the destination number. 3. Tenor send the ani for authentication. 4. If authentication is successfull Tenor provide second dial tone. 5. User gets confused here. Reguired Call Flow 1. User picks up the phone. 2. Tenor sends ani for authentication. 3. If authentication is successful Tenor provides second dialtone. 4. User dials the destination number. 5. Tenor makes the call. ** Quintum MR #1231 ADD EXCP TRACE W/DEBUG INFO TO VPPKTRELAY FUNCTIONS Add some debug information as EXCP trace in the functions of VpPktRelay to make troubleshooting easier. ** Quintum MR #1232 IN SOME CASES TENOR RETURNS RELCOMP CAUSE=16 WHEN IT SHOULDN'T When traffic volume is high and the Tenor is doing PSTN hop-off if the calls are spaced close together (1s or less) the DSP transmit resources to dial digits may not be available. If that happens, the call fails and the Tenor sends a RelComp w/cause=16. This is a problem in that other equipment may not reroute on that cause and this will reduce ASR’s on that route. The cause sent back is now either 42 (switching congestion) or 47 (resources unavailable) as appropriate. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-22 Release Date: UNRELEASED Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1058 FASTSTART REVERSELOGICALCHANNELPARAMS CONTAINS WRONG IP:PORT. The IP:Port values that the Tenor places in the FastStart in the CallProc, Alert etc... are incorrect. In the 2nd OLC (Open Logical Channel) structure (the one with RevLogChanParams present) the mediaControlChannel (RTCP control channel) had the Calling sides' IP and Port listed, this is incorrect it should be the IP:Port of the "Called" side. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-21 Release Date: October 15, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1160 CHANGE "E1R2" DEBUG GROUP TO "CAS" DEBUG GROUP Changing the trace group because these traces are appropriate for all types of CAS signaling not just E1R2. ** Quintum MR #1217 STOP ANSWERDELAY TIMER IF DSP HAS DETECTED ANSWER Having the Tenor configured with Supervision=Answer(2), a large AnswerDelay & the interface set for LoopStart FwdDisc will cause it to ignore the FwdDisconnect signal when it comes in. This occurs if the far-end hangs up after the DSP detects answer but before the answer delay has timed out. The resolution is to acknowledge the FwdDisconnect even though the answer delay has not timed out. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-20 Release Date: October 10, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1208 FOR AUTOEXTIP FEATURE LOOK AT IP HEADER PORT VALUE The current implementation looks to see if the GRQ/RRQ from the GW has a different RAS Address from the one in the IP header but does not also compare the ports. Some NAT/FW's will send the message thru on a different port than where it was received. In those cases the GK that is external will send its reply to the wrong port and the GW will never receive it. ** Quintum MR #1210 TENOR SENDS AUTHORIZATION AND VOIP ACCTG REQUESTS AFTER THE TELEPHONY REQUEST A Tenor setup for prepaid calling card operation had authorization and VoIP accounting requests after the Telephony request. This has been fixed. ** Quintum MR #1211 ADD 'FALLBACK TO PRIMARY GK' FEATURE. Currently, when the primary GK goes away, we will make the secondary GK our GK, if configured. But, we never will try to re-establish the primary GK as our GK again. Now when the secondary GK has been established as our current GK, the Tenor will attempt to reestablish communication with the primary GK. If the primary GK comes back, it will be the current GK. We will then unregister from the secondary GK. ** Quintum MR #1212 RADIUS STOP ACCOUNTING REQUEST WITH H323-CALL-TYPE=TELEPHONY INSTEAD OF VOIP Sometimes the Tenor sends accounting request with h323-call-type=Telephony instead of VoIP, changes made here fix this issue. ** Quintum MR #1213 ALLOW MULTIPLE TRUNK GROUP MATCH ON LDN Currently, if a call comes in over IP and there is an LDN match, the call was tried out on the first matching PBX TG only. The rationale was that LDNs (station numbers) will be unique within a network. Changes are made to relax this routing to match all the PBX TGs with the matching LDN to allow for the hunting among PBX TGs. The hunting algorithm will be fixed though and will be searched in the ascending order from pbxtg 1 then pbxtg 2 etc… ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-19 Release Date: October 1, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1072 SNTP FAILS TO UPDATE TIME. The CallRelay was losing many minutes each day. Changes were made to internally sync-up the pSOS time with the real-time clock at 30 second intervals to resolve this problem. ** Quintum MR #1096 CDR DESTINATION NUMBER FOR ACCOUNTING TYPE 2 In case of accounting type 2, incoming and outgoing leg data is generated in CDR for each call. ** Quintum MR #1188 PPPOE LINK DOWN LOG When Ethernet link is pulled out and reconnected the PPPoE process sends broadcast packets even though it is not configured to use PPPoE. This may cause network problems. ** Quintum MR #1199 (Tkt 9616) STATIC ROUTING ALGORITHM PROBLEM. Given 2 static routes, one with gkmode=GW and the other gkmode=GK, the current algorithm will ignore the 2nd static route because is requires a LRQ before the ARQ can be answered. This has been found to be inadequate. The algorithm has been modified to perform the LRQ and return the results of the LRQ plus the callsig of static route 1. ** Quintum MR #1201 CALLERID TYPE FEATURE Caller ID selection feature. For PBX and PSTN trunks, a new CIDType feature controls the caller id used for the calls initiated from the respective trunks. A new pbxtg/pstntg parameter cidtype is introduced. 4 possible values may be specified and have the meaning as follows: 0 - From Interface: Caller id available from the incoming call is used. (default for pstntg and digital pbxtg) 1 - Trunk Id. The trunk id configured for the trunk group is used as the caller id. If trunk id is not configured first LDN configured is used. (default for analog pbxtg) 2 - First LDN. First public hunt LDN configured is used as the caller id. If no public hunt LDN is configured, first private hunt LDN is used. This value is available for PBX TG only. 3 - First LDN+From Interface. First configure LDN appended by the incoming call's caller id is used. This value is available for PBX TG only. ** Quintum MR #1204 (Tkt 9595) OUTBOUND FORCED BEARER CAPABILITY. For ISDN signaling, the bearer capability IE may be forced to speech for outbound calls. Currently we code the bearer cap of the outbound calls to the bearer cap of the incoming call and where the incoming call is not an ISDN call, 3.1KHz bearer cap is used. For some terminating carriers, 3.1KHz facility is not available and calls were getting rejected. forceoutboundbcap: 0 disables this feature (bcap is “3.1kHz”), 1 forces the bcap to “Speech” ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-18 Release Date: September 19, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1091 RUSSIAN LANGUAGE IVR SUPPORT Russian Language is added to the list of supported languages ** Quintum MR #1103 "#" SHOULD BE A VALID CHARACTER IN A LAMPATTERN Allowing the ‘#’ character to be entered in the lampattern and the lamreplace. ** Quintum MR #1120 MISSING CALL IDENTIFIER FROM ENDPOINT RADIUS AUTHENTICATION REQUEST Endpoint RADIUS authentication request did not sent h332-conf-id and this would cause some RADIUS server to reject the request. H323-conf-id is also used to relate the authentication and accounting requests in the database. ** Quintum MR #1185 DON'T RELAY MODEM TONE DETECTION IF REMOTE GW IS NON-TENOR. Don't send facility on modem tone detection when the other end is non-Tenor. At Quintum China, when Tenor sent the facility to the remote GW (Taiwan Planet), the remote GW closed the H.245 channel and the Tenor dropped the call. Apparently false modem tone was detected in this case. ** Quintum MR #1190 ADD RTP VERIFY FEATURE A proprietary Tenor to Tenor feature, this allows both origination and termination side to verify the RTP port sent by the other and correct it if it was changed in between. To activate set config?h323gw?rtpverify=yes(1) on both orig and term Tenors. Default is no(0). ** Quintum MR #1191 ADD MALAYSIAN CURRENCY (RINGITS) SUPPORT TO IVR. IVR English Language now supports Malaysian currency. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-16 Release Date: August 22, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1164 BUG FIX IN THE PRI PROTOCOL STACK When Tenor is configured for ETSI network side protocol, and the layer 3 protocol is in the NULL state, if a STATUS message is received, Tenor sends out a RELEASE message, instead of simply ignoring the received message. ** Quintum MR #1165 INBOUND CALLER ID TRANSLATION FEATURE This feature enables translation of calling party number present in inbound calls. The feature also controls the calling party number delivery on outbound calls. The following new configuration parameters are created: In PBX and PSTN TGs: transinboundcid relaycid New configuration group at the config level: cidtable pattern index pattern replace index replacement config cidtable This defines the system-wide caller id translation table. This works much like the hop-off (LAM) pattern match and replacement. Up to 32 entries are supported. The first matching pattern is used to translate the caller id. Example: The following table will translate incoming caller id 001 to 6266001: Caller ID Translation Table Index Pattern Replacement 1 < 0> < 62660> 2 < 6> < 62666> transinboundcid When set to 0, no translation is done. When set to 1, the caller id present in the incoming call if any, is translated using the configuration in cidtable. relaycid This is for outbound calls. When set to 0, no caller id is sent out for outbound calls. When set to 1, any caller id present from the calling side is sent out. When set to a negative number, last n digits of the caller id is sent out. For example, if last 3 digits of the caller id is to be sent out, -3 should be configured. ** Quintum MR #1176 MODEM OVER IP FEATURE A new feature has been implemented to pass modem calls over the IP network. Previously, modem calls could only be sent via the PSTN. If using this feature, when Tenor detects that a call is a modem call, it will inform the peer gateway. Then both gateways will change the codec to another user-configurable codec (such as G.711, or 16, 24, 32 or 40 Kb/s ADPCM) to carry the modem data. Restrictions: - MoIP calls will work only between Quintum Tenors. - When MoIP feature is enabled, all fax calls will also use this new mechanism. - Some older modem protocols (1200 baud, etc.) may not be detected properly as they do not all use 2100hz answer tone. - 56K is not supported. It may work very well in certain situations, but no guarantees. Configuration: PBX/PSTN TGs - In any trunk group that will carry a MoIP call, the "Modem Calls" parameter has to be set to 2 (MoIP). DSP - "Fax Relay Type" has to be set to 0 (Proprietary). "Fax Modem Coding" has to be set to a value other than 0 (Disable). The valid values are 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 100. ** Quintum MR #1180 ADD SUPPORT FOR BANGLADESH DISCONNECT TONE No new configuration is required for this to work ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-12 Release Date: July 23, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1139 bug patch FORCE PROGRESSINDICATOR IE INTO OUTGOING SETUP (TKT 7045) The commands for this feature were removed in patch –10, re-add them. ** Quintum MR #1148 CLI IS CONFUSED BETWEEN "DISABLECHAN" AND "DISABLEDPROMPT" Users generally type "dis " when disabling channels on the PBX or PSTNTG's. After the "disabledprompt" command was added the CLI parsing does not allow just "disable" it must be at least "disablec" for channel. The “disabledprompt” command is now “promptdisabled” so there is no conflict. ** Quintum MR #1152 TURN ON HDLC TRACE AUTOMATICALLY WHEN Q9XX IS ENABLED When the q9xx trace is turned on for debugging also enable the hdlc trace. ** Quintum MR #1153 SNMP UPTIME INCORRECT The system uptime queried by snmp and reported in traps was incorrect. ** Quintum MR #1157 ADD TRACE "DEBUG GROUPS" FOR H323, ISDN, E1R2 & DSP Add "debug group" commands to turn on commonly used groups of trace for debugging. Each group will enable the following trace/level: h323d - ch, hstack & hproto @ level 3 isdnd - ch, hstack, hdlc, isdnhl & q9xx @ level 3 e1r2d - ch, hstack, cas, ab & abmon of both PBX/PSTN interfaces, @ level 3 dspd – dsp @ level 1 (for Answer/Disconnect Supervision debug) ** Quintum MR #1158 FEATURE 20030701: YUGOSLAVIA TONE SUPPORT Yugoslavia tone support, country value 23 was added for Yugoslavia. ** Quintum MR #1159 POLAND COUNTRY CODE CHANGED FROM 21 TO 22 21 is now taken by australia_dp1 which is already deployed in Australia and cms. old systems with Poland set to 21 is automatically changed to 22 when software is upgraded. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-11 Release Date: July 18, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1155 FEATURE 20030301: R2 DEFAULT ANI NOW FORCES ALL CALLS TO THE DEFAULT SET. When default ANI is set for R2 protocol, the default ANI was used only when ANI did not exist. This is now changed to always use the default ANI if the default ANI is set. ** Quintum MR #1156 PROGRESS FROM IP SIDE W/PROGDESC=8 CAUSING CONGESTION TONE OF 4 TO BE PLAYED When the Tenor received a Progress (for Alert) back from the IP side and its Progress Description was 8 the R2 code passed backwards tone of 4 (Congestion in most countries) instead of 6 in this case. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-10 Release Date: July 1, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #997 ADD TCP KEEPALIVE OPTION IN AS CONFIGURABLE ITEM Allows Tenor to do a “keep alive” at the TCP level to monitor the link. Command can be found under config?unit?1?tcpkeepalive, default is disabled(0). ** Quintum MR #1111 CALL RELAY RADIUS STOP ACCONTING INFO CHANGES 1. UserName of for the Incoming leg and out going leg should be set to the ip of the origination endpoint. 2. RemoteAddress in the incoming leg stop accounting should be set to the ip of origination endpoint and the outgoing leg should be set to the ip of the termination endpoint. ** Quintum MR #1115 IVR TYPE 8 (2ND DIAL PROMPT) ** Quintum MR #1116 MAKE IVR PROMPTS CONFIGURABLE - Credit amount - Credit timer ** Quintum MR #1124 INCOMPLETE NUMBER IN IVR TYPE 9 A customer has a phone connected to the PBX interface and has ivrtype set to 9 for anitype 3. He picks up a phone, gets dialtone from Tenor, dials a number, and then goes through authentication. If he dials the number followed by a #, then the call works. If he dials it without the #, then the call fails. ** Quintum MR #1130 NOT PLAY NEXT VOICE PROMPT (IVR RETRY COUNTER). If ivr retry counter is set to more than 1, after 1st try, tenor sends "You enter invalid number", and "Please enter xxxxx" should followed, but nothing followed. ** Quintum MR #1130 bug patch NOT PLAY NEXT VOICE PROMPT (IVR RETRY COUNTER). The bug on 1130 that ivr retry feature does not work at all is fixed. ** Quintum MR #1132 RECEIVING CONNECT W/PROGIND IE GETS SPLIT INTO 2 MSGS CAUSING TENOR TO DROP CALL. Tenor was receiving a Connect from switch on PSTN side that contained a Progress Indication IE, Telenetworks stack would split it out into 2 messages, a Connect and a Progress message. Tenor considered Progress after Connect invalid and immediately dropped the call. ** Quintum MR #1133 TENOR RESET IN TELENETWORKS STACK. Due to some changes in Telenetworks stack the Tenor would reset, sometimes frequently depending on the traffic. This only effects Digital Tenors. ** Quintum MR #1134 LRQ CANNOT BE SENT TO ANY PORTS OTHER THAN 1719. Configuration of Static Routes allows the port to be modified along w/the CallSigAddress. If gkmode=1 (Gatekeeper) the port could be modified but the LRQ was still sent to 1719. ** Quintum MR #1135 IVR AUTHORIZATION REQUEST WITHOUT AUTHENTICATION. Tenor is doing prepaid calling card function. Multisession is enabled. In case that a user enters invalid data (account or password or destination number), he can get another chance to retry up to maximum retry counter. If his tries reaches the maximum retry threshold, this call will be disconnected in any case, even multisession call. Problem was that Tenor sends Authorization request after retry fail by multisession function. ** Quintum MR #1136 ADD BANGLADESHI TAKA & PAISA TO ENGLISH IVR. ** Quintum MR #1137 CH NOT RESPONDING TO INFO_IND W/SENDING COMPLETE Tenor call handler was not responding to an INFO_IND message w/Sending Complete. As a result internal stack sent CLEAR_IND and Tenor attempted to Restart the channel. ** Quintum MR #1138 ENDLESS MULTI SESSION PROMPT In case a destination user with multi session release first after a call. Multisession prompt is playing every 24 seconds until he hangs up the phone. ** Quintum MR #1139 FORCE PROGRESSINDICATOR IE INTO OUTGOING SETUP The new command "forcedprogindout" which can be found under the Signaling group (when fasline=2 PSTN Only) can be used to force a Progress Indication IE into an outgoing Setup message on the PSTN port. The command requires 2 additional arguments, the 1st is the Location value and the 2nd the Progress Description that the user desires in the ProgInd IE. Executing the command with 2 args enables this feature, to disable simply enter the command w/o args. ** Quintum MR #1140 ALLOW PASSTHRU OF PROGINDIE FROM PBX TO PSTN SIDE Tenor was receiving a Setup on PBX side interface and it contained the Progress Indication IE. This was not passed thru to Setup going out PSTN side and switch was disconnecting with Cause=88 (Incompatible destination). FEATURES FROM PATCH P4-2-20-6 MISSING IN P4-2-20-7 THRU P4-2-20-9: Some of the features present as of Patch –6 were inadvertently removed in Patches –7 thru -9. They have been restored in patch -10. ** Quintum MR #1143 ADD "UPTIME" COMMAND TO TENOR CLI A new command has been added to check how long Tenor has been running. This was added so that the “ev” command did not have to be executed to get this information. From the prompt entering “uptime” will display the time since last reset, in seconds. ** Quintum MR #1145 CALL INDICATION TONE IS HEARD OVER IP WHEN SET FOR ASW ONLY The Call Indication Tone (config-->sys-->callindtone) is used to play a beep tone during either an ASW or IP call. When configured to play beep tone for ASW calls only (callindtone=1) the beep is heard during the IP call also. ** Quintum MR #1146 LISTENING TIMER NOT STOPPED IN SWITCHTCPCONNECTIONIVR When Tenor switches TCP connection in H245 the listening timer is not stopped and call is torn down after 30secs. ** Quintum MR #1147 PREPAID CALLING CARD NUMBER LONGER THAN 14 DIGITS FAILS If a prepaid calling card number is longer than 14 digits, next authentication always fails because of wrong account number. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-5 Release Date: May 23, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. RESOLVED INCONSISTENCIES: ** Quintum MR #1119 RADIUS H323-CONF-ID SHOULD BE SENT IN CONFID OF THE SETUP MESAGE. Currently we pass RADIUS h323-conf-id from the origination to the termination gateway in the calleid of the setup message. This is incompatible with Cisco. Cisco expect this parameter to be in the conf-id of the setup message. Existing customers who are using this feature and have Tenors as origination and termination must upgrade and pair. ** Quintum MR #1124 INCOMPLETE NUMBER IN IVR TYPE 9. A customer has a phone connected to the PBX interface and has ivrtype set to 9 for anitype 3. He picks up a phone, gets dialtone from Tenor, dials a number, and then goes through authentication. If he dials the number followed by a #, then the call works. If he dials it without the #, then the call fails. This is now resolved. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-4 Release Date: May 14, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. RESOLVED INCONSISTENCIES: ** Quintum MR #1122 GET AUTO EXTIP FEATURE WORKING WHEN ADSL IP CHANGES. The AutoExtIp feature was working for the TenorGW on initial power-up but not if IP changed during normal registration keep alive exchange. Changes made to also allow this to happen. ** Quintum MR #1123 AUTOSWITCH NUMBERS ARE NOW DIALED WITH TON/NPI VALUES OF UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN. Autoswitch numbers dialed had ton/npi coded to public and local, national or international depending on whether the autoswitch number to be dialled is local, long distance or international call with respect to the system's country and area code configured. However, with national and international numbers, the long distance and international prefixes were also added to the number. This is technically incorrect per e.164 coding. TON and NPI are now coded unknown/unknown. ** Quintum MR # AUTO EXTERNAL IP DISCOVERY FEATURE SET: The following commands are related to the new Auto EXTIP feature. For more information on this, please review the document on Auto EXT IP Feature on our web site in the Command and Application Example Section. AUTOEXTIP Description: Used to enable or disable the Auto External IP Discovery feature on the Tenor that will be behind a NAT. Prompt Level: config h323# Syntax: autoextip or autoext {0 | 1} Arguments: 0 Disables feature. 1 Enables feature. Default: 0 Disabled Guidelines: Must set Tenor to register to a Tenor GK that is installed on a static public IP. Example: config h323# autoext 1 (enables the autoextip feature). USEIPHDR Description: Used to enable/disable the Auto External IP Discovery feature on the Tenor that will be used as the Gatekeeper. Prompt Level: config gksys# Syntax: useiphdr or useip {0 | 1} Arguments: 0 Disables the autoextip feature. 1 Enables the autoextip feature. Default: 0 (disable) Guidelines: Only used with other Tenors and this GK must be on the public IP with a static IP address. Example: config gksys# useiphdr 1 (enables the autoextip from the GK side). ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-3 Release Date: May 6, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. RESOLVED INCONSISTENCIES: ** Quintum MR #1117 ADD GKCONFIG OPTION FOR RIDGEWAY INTEROP. Having the TenorGK accept terminate ARQ's from itself is undesirable, add a gkoption for this feature. Default is no(0). To allow Ridgeway interop set config -> gksys -> ridgewayarq 1 (yes). ** Quintum MR #1118 READ DISCOVERY PORT INSTEAD OF RAS IN GK. The Auto External IP feature was getting an IP address of 0.0.0.0 when TenorGK got an incoming GRQ . This was because the Discovery Socket source IP should have been read instead of the Ras Socket. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-2 Release Date: May 5, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. RESOLVED INCONSISTENCIES: ** Quintum MR #1105 AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE EXTIP WHEN CHANGED. Allows TenorGW running behind DSL/Cable modem to automatically update its configured external ip via the TenorGK it is registered to “outside” the DSL/Cable modem. ** Quintum MR #1113 ALLOW GK TO SEND ACF FOR CALL TO ITSELF (RIDGEWAY). In order to interop w/Ridgeway products the TenorGK must be capable of receiving a terminate ARQ with the same destination IP as the origination ARQ. TenorGK currently will reject the terminating ARQ w/ARJ reason, “Called Party Not Registered”. ** Quintum MR #1114 ADD GK SIDE CHANGES TO SUPPORT SENDING LRQ W/SOURCEINFO. When interoperating w/Cisco Gatekeepers that require authentication, the LRQ sent by the TenorGK does not currently support the sourceInfo element as it is an optional element. The CiscoGK rejects w/LRJ if the sourceInfo list is not present, this list is needed for the CiscoGK to authenticate the calling gateway. ############################################################################### Changes in Patch Version: P4-2-20-1 Release Date: April 28, 2003 Products Affected: A400/A800, Digital Tenors all models. ** Quintum MR #1061 PSTNTG/PBXTG TRUNK ID VALUE = NONE AND IVR != 0 CAUSES GARBLED TRUNK ID. When config/pstntg 1/trunk id is configured as 'none', the trace log 'remote' field has garbled msg. The terminate tenor generates EXCPs, complains about 'Trunk ID length too big' for each garbled msg. Calls failed. When the 'trunk id' is entered with a number. this problem disappears. This problem happens to both digital and analog tenors. ** Quintum MR #1063 BUSYOUT FEATURE DOES NOT WORK. On PSTN TG, if busyout is set to 1 and when there is an incoming call that cannot terminate to PBX TG because all PBX ports are in use, Tenor answers the call and provided fast busy tone. 1065 Unhide DAAStartup & allow Guard Time range > than 2 secs. Make the Guard time command user accessible. Its used tas a delay between when the Tenor disconnects 1 call and when it will accept the next. A value of 0=disabled, values of 100-2000mS can be entered in 10mS increments, values from 2000mS-15750mS can be entered in 250mS increments. ** Quintum MR #1066 TENOR REROUTE RETRY ON CAUSE CODE 3 OVER IP CALL ATTEMPT FAILED. When a call is made over IP, only if the call fails with cause codes between 31 and 47, inclusive, the call is retried over another route. This feature allows reroute if cause code 3 (no route to destination) is received. ** Quintum MR #1067 REMOVE EXCP MESSAGE OF SYMFREE ON INCOMING SETUP FROM CISCO W/NONSTDAUDIO. EXCP's printing out in Tenor trace was due to an earlier fix getting removed from the software build. ** Quintum MR #1068 NO FAST START/TUNNELING HAS CRV PROBLEM. If the far end sends a setup with no fast start and tunneling true, when h245 is brought up internally, the Q.931 Call Reference Value (CRV) is not being passed to h245. So- when tunneled messages are sent, the CRV in the Facility message is 0. The far end won't process this message. ** Quintum MR #1069 SETUP FAILS TO ENCODE UUIE WHEN INCOMING CALL HAS CID BLOCKED. When receiving CallerId labeled as "P" for Private the Setup message to be sent over IP is only partially encoded. ** Quintum MR #1070 CREATE FORMAT 105 FOR CDR, INCLUDE H323 CALL IDENTIFIER IN RAW CDR DATA. Feature request for Tenor to include the H323 Call Identifier in the raw CDR data. ** Quintum MR #1078 ALLOW STARTH245 ALGORITHM TO BE CONFIGURABLE. The algorithm the Tenor uses to resolve a startH245 collision is logically opposite what is written in H323, section 8.2.3. This was done to interoperate w/certain Cisco releases that seem to violate the spec also. Add a configuration item to allow the Tenor to do startH245 collision per spec if set to yes(1) or as it does now if set to no(0). The default is no(0). ** Quintum MR #1080 CDR CORRUPTION CDR corruption problem was reported by CMS system, not Tenor. But for the future, this problem can happen in Tenor too. ** Quintum MR #1083 H323-CONF-ID MISMATCH BETWEEN ORIGINATING AND DESTINATION TENOR. The h323-conf-id is generated locally per gateway instead of for all call legs. ** Quintum MR #1085 STARTH245 FLAG COMMAND BUG. The "startH245flag" command under config-->h323gw does not work. Entering the command and a value always result in "Command Error". ** Quintum MR #1090 RELAYRESETNUMBER PRINTING 2X WHEN AUTORESET=DISABLED. Executing config -> unit1 -> print displays "RelayResetNumber= " twice when autoreset=disabled. ** Quintum MR #1092 GATEKEEPER NOT CLEARING CALLS. The Tenor Gatekeeper not freeing up calls when it receives a Setup without a CallIdentifier from a non-Tenor gateway running H323v4. ** Quintum MR #1093 IVR ACCESS NUMBER ERROR. When Tenor is configured for PrePaid card service, it was sending wrong information. The ACCESSCODE in the trace was set to 1, when it should have been (0)800951150. ** Quintum MR #1095 BUG IN GK CALLAUTHORIZER TRACE. When testing GK/Radius call authorization the GK sent an ARJ the trace that displayed junk for the CallIdinstead of valid information. ** Quintum MR #1099 H323GW'S RRQV3PLUS CONFIG PARAMETER DOES NOT TAKE EFFECT. Feature RRQv3plus configuration parameter in h323gw does not take effect. The Tenor always behaves as though the parameter was set to no. ** Quintum MR #1102 IVR CREDIT TIME PROMPT Play an ivr credit time radius sends. Set the credit timer by ivr-duratioin attribute if it is not -1. ** Quintum MR #1104 UNHIDE FAXNOMDELAY & FAXMAX COMMANDS. The faxnomdelay and faxmax commands which are hidden under superuser in the DSP command area are now visible for customers to use. ** Quintum MR #1106 LRQ FOR PROXY CANDIDATES NO LONGER WORKING. The LRQ is not working in the TenorGK. They have 2 A800's, each is its own BE/GK/GW. Lets call them Tenor-A and Tenor-B. Tenor-A has a static route pointing to Tenor-B with a DN = * and Gkmode=Gatekeeper. When a call is placed into Tenor-A, the Tenor-A GW sends an ARQ to Tenor-A GK but the GK does not respond with an ACF or ARJ. We expect Tenor-A GK to send RIP to Tenor-A GW and then send an LRQ to Tenor-B GK. ** Quintum MR #1107 MULTISESSION KEY NOW WORKING IN INVALID DN. In case that a user enters a invalid destination number and this call is rejected by the terminating system (Returncode : 28 invalid format), the user hear a conjestion tone for 20 seconds. During the tone, if the user press a multisession key, the key does not work. ** Quintum MR #1108 IVR TIMEOUT IS INITIALIZED TO 0 IN DB AND IT SHOULD BE 5. When upgrading from an older release the IVR timeout which is supposed to default to 5 secs is 0 secs.
