HOW TO UPDATE YOUR TENOR AS, AF, AX, BX, DX or Call Relay 60

This procedure applies to updating any Tenor AS, AF, AX, BX, DX or Call Relay 60 to current code. This procedure does NOT apply to the Tenor CMS, Call Relay SP or the Application Server platforms.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL TO SELECT THE CORRECT ZIP FILE FOR YOUR UNIT! The AS, AF, AX and BX use one zip file, the DX uses another, the Call Relay 60 (CR60) yet another. The product names are clearly included in the zip file names.

Update Procedure:

1. BACKUP your current configuration in case of problems. Via FTP, binary mode, retrieve the entire contents of the /cfg/db/ directory and store it in a safe place.

2. Unzip the software file retrieved from the Quintum Website into a new, empty directory on your PC

3. Open an ftp session to your Tenor. Do NOT change directory.

4. Set binary mode, and ftp all files from the zip to the Tenor

5. Reboot your Tenor for the new software to take effect
