VoIP Routing

This section covers parameters related to VoIP call routing.

In short, Static Routes associate Endpoints (as represented by their IP addresses) with Directory number patterns. Static Routes also associate Endpoints with IP Routing Groups. It is important to note that Static Routes not only control outbound VoIP calls, but inbound VoIP calls.

IP Routing Groups (IPRGs) control various aspects of digit manipulation and whether or not Voice Codecs are used/allowed.

The following items explain how to add "Static Routes," associate codec profiles, and do digit manipulation.
