Ethernet/VoIP Configuration

This section covers configuration of the Ethernet interfaces, TCP/IP parameters and VoIP components such as the Border Element and Gatekeeper. As VoIP functionality is integral to the system, some items may be covered under Systemwide Configuration.

• Ethernet/TCP covers configuration of the physical properties of the Ethernet interface and TCP/IP addresses and routing.  

• SIP/H323/Gatekeeper/BorderElement covers the parameters specific to SIP and the H.323 protocol, including Gatekeeper and Border Element configuration.

• VoIP Routing covers the routing of VoIP calls, codec and digit manipulation, etc.  

• DN Channel Map covers how to set up DN Channel Map-based routing.

• FaxProfile covers the configuration of a Fax over IP application.
