Password

Description

The password command enables you to change the password for the Tenor.

Location

File > Password > Password Change dialog

Options

In the Password Change dialog, enter the Login and Old Password, then enter the New Password twice (the second time to confirm it).

Syntax

Use the password command as follows:

1. Access the CLI through a Telnet session.

2. Access the maintenance module.

3. Type password. You are prompted for the old password.

4. Type the old password and press Enter. You are prompted for the new password.

5. Type the new password and press Enter. You are prompted to re-type the new password to confirm.

6. Re-type the password and press Enter. You are informed that the password was changed successfully

Guidelines

The password command is available only under the Maintenance module.
