RElayANI

Description

This command controls whether the ANI of a call outbound on this signaling group has its ANI value relayed or suppressed. The default is to relay the ANI value.

There is a command with the same name in the IPRG and CASSG. See the links below.

Guidelines

Valid values are as follows:

0   ANI is not relayed on outbound calls through this routing group.

1   ANI is relayed on outbound calls through this routing group (default).

2   ANI is relayed, but uses the TON and NPI values from DefaultANITON and DefaultANINPI.

99  (Tenor DX and CMS only) Picks an ANI from the preconfigured pool of numbers (see following Note).

Note

When calls are coming in from the IP side to be sent out to the PSTN over E1 lines, and RelayANI is set to 99, the Tenor picks a number from the ANI pool. The call can be PRI or E1 R2. The The Tenor DX or CMS can select an ANI from a preconfigured list for every circuit outgoing call. The ANI coming from the IP side is discarded. The ANI may be picked from the configured list sequentially or randomly (based on configuration). Here are the details of this application:

  • You must create a file called "anilist.txt" and place it in the "cfg" directory of the Tenor DX or CMS. Each line of this file should list one ANI, which can be up to 15 digits long.

  • The Tenor DX can support up to 120 ANIs in this file, the CMS can support up to 4000.

  • This feature supports both PRI (ISDN Signaling Group) and E1 R2 (CAS Signaling Group).

  • The file is read at system startup time. It can also be read by the system by using the "cmd readanilist" command. - The "cmd dispanilist" command can be used to display the list of ANIs that is currently being used by the Tenor.

  • The ANIs are sequentially read from the list for new outgoing calls on the PRI/R2 circuit interface(s).

  • If an ANI is being used for a call, and the call is still active, the Tenor will not use that ANI for a new call.
