Description

RxGain (Receive Gain) is used to raise or lower the gain (volume) of signals that come in on the IP interface.

There is a command with the same name in the CASSG. See the link below.

Guidelines

This parameter does not apply for the Call Relay SP.

The range is -14 dB to 14 dB, and the default value is 0 dB for Analog and Digital Tenors.

Quintum has done extensive testing with this feature and the default setting seems to be the optimum for Multipath and Termination applications.

Syntax

set rxgain or rg {num}     

Arguments

num   Numerical Value representing the number of decibels of gain that are added or subtracted from the natural gain of IP calls. Valid values are between -14 dB and +14dB.for Analog Tenors

Default

0 = Digital and Analog Tenors

Examples

config-IPRoutingGroup-1# set rxgain

Sets the receive gain to -4 dB.

Sets the receive gain to +1 dB.
